Psychotherapy, or talk therapy, is a way in which people deal with emotional difficulties and mental illnesses. The goal in psychotherapy is to enable the individual to function better and to acquire skills and coping mechanisms in order to deal with a particular life event.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes in length and can range from short term ( a few sessions ) in order to deal with immediate sessions to long term (months) in order to deal with complex issues.
Current fees are located on the Pricing page and sessions are covered by Green Shield, Sun Life, Great West Life. It is recommended that you check with your insurance provider in order to determine your level of coverage.
